Allocations Committee
Served on the Allocations Committee, helping evaluate community needs and determine the effective distribution of resources to programs and organizations addressing critical issues throughout Southern Nevada.
Lili Claire Foundation — Las Vegas, Nevada
Executive Board of Directors
Served on the Executive Board of Directors, contributing executive leadership and strategic perspective to the Foundation’s efforts on behalf of children and families affected by rare genetic disorders.
Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada
Volunteer & Wish Parent
Served as a volunteer and Wish Parent, providing personal support to the organization’s mission of creating life-changing experiences for children with critical illnesses and their families.
Special Olympics Nevada
Interim Executive Director
Matthew served as Interim Executive Director of Special Olympics Nevada and its affiliate network, providing executive leadership during a critical period of organizational development and growth.
In this role, Matthew worked closely with the Board of Directors to establish a clear vision for the organization’s future, refine its strategic direction, and translate organizational goals into actionable plans. His leadership focused on strengthening operations, expanding community engagement, increasing financial sustainability, and positioning the organization for long-term growth.

- Collaborated with the Board of Directors to develop and refine the organization’s strategic vision and long-term growth plan.
- Created and implemented an annual operating plan designed to translate strategic objectives into measurable results.
- Provided executive leadership across the organization and its expanding network of affiliates, staff, and volunteers.
- Strengthened organizational processes and developed the managerial, functional, and specialized capabilities necessary to support continued growth.
Growth, Innovation & Communications
- Identified opportunities to leverage digital communications and emerging technologies to expand awareness, engagement, and organizational reach.

- Served as a visible ambassador for the Special Olympics mission throughout the Southern Nevada community.

- Oversaw financial operations and maintained organizational financial stability.

Matthew’s involvement with Special Olympics Nevada extended well beyond organizational management. He helped inspire a broad network of staff, volunteers, affiliates, business leaders, donors, and community partners to advance opportunities and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.
